CHAPTER 1-Rochelle Hartstonger
Biiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg!!!!!
“Aaarrrrrrggggg!!” A hand slapped the clock. “Where’s my PIZZA?” I practically shouted. Rubbing my eyes I finally registered where I was, oh yeah in my room, dreaming for sure.
“Rochelle Hartstonger! Get down here and eat your breakfast!”
“Uggggggg.” Rochelle, walk to the door. Rochelle open the door. Walk to the sink. Turn on the tap. Get your toothbru-
“Hurry up!!”
“Coming!”
“THE BUS IS HERE!” my mom bellowed.
“Already?” I asked incredulously.
“YES ALREADY! YOU’RE GOING TO BE LATE!” But my clock says- holy crap! It’s 7:30!
“ROCHELLE…THE BUS LEFT!” No way had that bus just left without me on it. I tripped on the stairs on the way head, ankle, head, ankle. Ouch. Definitely got of the wrong side of the bed today.
“Oowwwwwww!” I whined. “Mo-om! Can you take me to school?!”
“I don’t have a choice do I?” It’s the first day of second semester and I’m going be late.
Ten minutes later I’m sitting in my dad’s musty car (because my mom’s broke down) with several stains on my shirt from hot chocolate spillages. Gloomily I thought, today’s gonna be an absolutely fantastic day. I think the sky feels the same way I do. It was a hundred percent cloudy day with absolutely no sunshine. Not a single ray. Zero. Nada.
Surprisingly the bell to start class still hasn’t rung yet. Safe, that was close. I wave at Hall Borakeck, Matthew Wairclef, Emo Duraldock, and Nancy Caition, but only Nancy waved back. I guess guys are still and will always be retarded. I searched the crowd for my best friends. Hmmm well there’s Grace Fridwheaten, Tracy Chenege, Daphne Esspyes, and Sandra Changgal, but no Ashley and Crystal…Weird.
